Ypres Salient Tour
We have follow in the footsteps of the British and Commonwealth Forces that fought in the Ypres Salient of the 1914-18 Great War and visited many of the battlefield sites in the Salient area. We have paid our respects to the fallen at the Menin Gate Memorial when attending the famous 'Last Post Ceremony', at the Tyne Cot CWGC Cemetery and Memorial, Essex Farm CWGC Cemetery and the other CWGC Cemeteries we have visit in the area. We have also visited the famous 'In Flanders Field' museum in Ieper, the preserved trenches at the Hill 62 (Sanctuary Wood) museum and Zonnebeke's excellent 'Passchendaele 1917' museum.
There is just not enough space on this page to show every location visited and the following photographs are just a small selection.
